01 · Contracts and rates

Every unit on contract, at the agreed rate.

Rental contracts use your rate cards, by day, week or month. Dispatch and return notes record the unit’s condition and meter reading each way, so disputes are settled from the record.

02 · Billing

Invoices from timesheets, not from memory.

Site timesheets are recorded against each contract, and invoices are raised from them automatically. No billable day is forgotten, and every invoice traces to a signed timesheet.

03 · Availability

One board for your own units and the ones you hire in.

The availability board shows every unit, whether out on hire, in the yard or under maintenance, hired-in equipment included, so a unit is committed before it is promised.

04 · Utilisation

See which units earn their keep.

Utilisation and revenue per unit, month by month, show directors which equipment to keep, move or sell, and where hiring in costs more than owning.

Approvals in this module

Contracts and hire-ins approved before they start.

How approvals work
  • Rental contracts

Rates below the card approved by the commercial manager.

  • Hire-in requests

Third-party equipment hired in only with approval.

  • Damage charges

Raised to the client only after review.

Use cases

How companies like yours use CrineonERP

  • Use case · Rental

A rental manager billing hired-out equipment from its timesheets

Each unit’s contract and rate card turn approved timesheets into the invoice, and the availability board shows what’s out, what’s back and what’s hired in.

FAQ

Equipment rental questions

Can we bill from site timesheets automatically?

Yes. Timesheets are recorded against the rental contract, and invoices are raised from them at the contract’s rates, so every billed day traces to a timesheet.

Can we track equipment we hire in?

Yes. Hired-in units have their own contracts and timesheets, appear on the availability board, and their cost is charged to the project that uses them.

Can we see which units are worth keeping?

Yes. Utilisation and revenue per unit show which equipment is earning and which is idle, month by month.
